This rocker stud and nut assembly allows for improved clamping load, adding up to a more rigid, stable and high revving valve train assembly. Additionally, it saves the threads in aluminum cylinder heads, especially in race applications that see constant disassembly. The stud kit also aids during installation of shaft mount rocker systems by accurately guiding the rocker arm assembly into position. The 12 point flange nuts provide ample clearance to rocker arms for maximum lift potential while a rounded nose on top of the stud prevents cross threading of the nut during assembly. Manufactured from grade 12.9 hardware, these high-strength studs also help to prevent thread fatigue and pulling of threads in aluminum heads.
